Digital trade finance network Contour names Chetan Talwar as Head of Global Sales

Contour, the digital trade finance network, has appointed Chetan Talwar to the role of Head of Global Sales.  

Based in Singapore, Chetan will develop Contour’s global sales strategy, lead the acquisition of new corporate and bank customers in the trade and trade finance industries, and deepen relationships with Contour’s existing clients. Working with Contour’s senior management, he will strategise new business development opportunities with the upcoming rollout of new digital solutions in Contour’s product pipeline. 

Chetan joins Contour after nearly 12 years at JP Morgan where he held numerous senior trade positions. He was previously the bank’s Executive Director, Global Trade – APAC Head of Supply Chain Finance Program Management. He has also held positions at Standard Chartered Bank where he was based in Hong Kong, India and Singapore and at HSBC India. 

Chetan is a veteran in the trade finance industry bringing with him 25+ years of experience. He will report to Contour’s CEO, Carl Wegner.
